NATURE RESERVES
BlueGreen Conservation is one of Bath’s main countryside contractors, specializing in all aspects of habitat creation & regeneration. We are recommended and contracted by BANES Council, Camerton Parish Council & many other private & public groups to manage and maintain our local nature reserves. Camerton Batch is one of Bath’s local nature reserves (LNR). It has an interesting and varied history- starting life as an old slag heap, but today offering a rich biodiversity.
WORK UNDERTAKEN: Woodland management; Sole woodland manager for the site.
We have just been awarded the contract for regenerating the wetland area, and the subsequent management thereof. Work commences in Oct 08.
WORK UNDERTAKEN: Wetland creation project (Beginning Oct 08) and Ditch management.
Contracted by BANES to upkeep grassland/ woodland footpaths and tackle
encroaching scrub within the wildflower meadows.
WORK UNDERTAKEN: Path maintenance and scrub
clearance, plus Grassland regeneration (flying flock)
